The export action is very similar to the unlock action, however, exported files are not removed from Filelocker. When a file is unlocked, it is unlocked back onto your computer and removed from Filelocker. Exporting does the somewhat the same thing however Filelocker it keeps a copy of the exported file in Filelocker instead of removing it. Therefore, there will be two copies of the file: one that remains locked, and another that is unlocked on the computer.
Important note: It is up to the user to ensure that the unlocked file is eventually deleted or the unlocked copy will remain on the computer after Filelocker is exited. Filelocker will help clean up exported files if the user preferences are set up to do this.
